I also saved out all the required drivers from the 8.1 install because it appears some of the drivers are very hardware specific and if you let Windows Update install drivers, somethings don’t work right (at least for me – auto rotate flips upside down, camera doesn’t work, etc…) With that said, I decided because I had a couple of these, I would simply fresh install one of them and use the other running 8.1 as a reference. This is a little problematic given for whatever reason, Insignia/BestBuy refuses to post the drivers for fresh installs. However, being old school, I always like to fresh installs. I figured from a performance perspective, if it can run Windows 8.1, it should run 8.1 just fine. These tablets come with Windows 8.1 but I wanted to put Windows 10 on there for some it’s cool stuff. I bought a couple of these tablets from when they were $40. How to fresh install Windows 10 (or I suppose Windows 8.1) on an Insignia Windows Tablet (NS-15MS0832)
